History

Caulfield Music Centre was established over 25 years ago through recognising the needs and requirements of a growing student clientele.

The retail side of the company soon outgrew its first small shop front, eventually becoming the two retail stores, music school and rehearsal studios that we have today.

Our product base begins with strings, music sheets and musical accessories, expanding into all types of good quality new and used instruments. These products are priced in the mid section of the market, aimed at providing basic instruments for beginners to full quality upgrade instruments as they progress. This philosophy has worked well; we have serviced three generations of students and musicians, establishing ourselves as an institution in our surrounding district.

The Caulfield Music Centre's Music School successfully coordinates over 160 students on a weekly basis with 16 teachers, many of whom enjoy a 5 - 10 year history with us. Some students graduate to forming groups of their own, thus requiring the use of Caulfield Music Centre's rehearsal studios alongside professional bands working in the national and international music scene.

Caulfield Music Centre's second retail store provides drummers with all their requirements ranging from excellent quality secondhand to state-of-the-art new drum kits, accessories, repairs and service.
